Weir enters strategic alliance with US oil and gas equipment distributor

The Weir Group PLC ("Weir") today announces a strategic alliance with Energy Products Inc. (EPI), enhancing and strengthening the supply of Weir pressure pumping aftermarket products and services to the North American unconventional oil and gas markets.

EPI, an Oklahoma-based distributor of pressure pumping products and services has facilities in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Pennsylvania, with a new facility under construction in Texas.

Under the partnership, Weir Oil & Gas becomes a key source of pressure pumping products for EPI which will then be sold through their strong and growing distribution network. As well as supplying some top-tier oilfield service companies, EPI focuses on a broad range of small and medium-sized customers who access a range of products through their network.

The agreement reinforces Weir's leading service presence in North America and enables the leverage of EPI's successful aftermarket services which includes mobile inspection and repair and equipment data tracking.
